April 09, 2002: The Israeli Army has requested to climb on the roof of the Presidential compund claiming that they want to fix the water problem there. According to Palestinian resources, the water problem is not on the roof but on the ground where Israeli tanks are. The Palestinian water company fixed the water system few days ago, but now it is destroyed again.
A few minutes following the request, the army announced that they will not wait for an answer from those inside the compound and will soon be on roof. People inside are worried that this might be an attempt to take positions in preparation for seizing the compound.
