Lieberman: use gas to force Palestinians out of Nativity Church: Israeli newspaper Haaretz said that Israel's National Union-Yisrael Beiteinu party chief Avigdor Lieberman said Wednesday that Israeli forces should employ gas to force Palestinians out of the Church of the Nativity. Lieberman told Army Radio that instead of endangering Israeli lives, Israel should order aerial bombings of Palestinians in refugee camps. He said that the United States and NATO had often taken this course in the past, adding that "In southern Afghanistan, there were days that the United States wiped out 400 people a day in aerial bombings."

Sharon to the US: Don’t Pressure Me: After over ten days of continuing Israeli attacks on West Bank towns, which have left hundreds of people dead, Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon sent a message to the US government, while visiting occupation forces near Jenin. Sharon demanded the US not to pressure him in what he claimed as his war on terror. Sharon said that Israel will continue its attacks on the West Bank, according to him, to "destroy the infrastructure of Palestinian terror groups." Hundreds of civilians have been killed since the Israeli invasion began less than two weeks ago.
