JERUSALEM: A 30-year-old Japanese woman was among five foreign nationals wounded in a peace march held at Beit Jala on the West Bank Monday in a clash with Israeli troops, officials at the Japanese embassy in Israel said.
The woman, Aisa Kiyosue, was hit by a bullet shrapnel in her right leg, according to another member of the peace group. Kiyosue, from Tokyo, was participating in a demonstration staged by foreign nationals protesting recent Israeli attacks on Palestinian territory on the West Bank and Gaza.
