Around the Clock Update:

400 Palestinians shelled in Ramallah (4:30 PM GMT): Nearly 400 Palestinians are coming under heavy Israeli bombing. Eyewitnesses and new reports coming from Ramallah indicate that Israel has in fact began a massive assault on the Security headquarters of the city, where hundreds of Palestinians, mostly office workers, including 60 women are trapped.

Many of these women also have their children in a day care center located inside the building, it was reported. Arab news agencies, including Al Jazeera said that balls of fire can be seen burning in the building. The Red Cross has been prevented from trying to save the wounded, who are said to be many. Palestinians fighters from the building indicated in telephone calls using their cell phones that they will fight until the end.

Suicide bomber headed to center Jerusalem (4:00 PM GMT): Israeli sources say that the Palestinian man who blew himself up today seriously wounding and Israeli police officer might have been heading to central Jerusalem, to carry out a suicide bombing. The suicide bombing is the third of its kind in three days. Palestinian groups state that suicide bombings are essential to fight the occupation. Over 25 Israelis have been killed in recent and similar bombings.

Arafat out of food (3:30 PM GMT): Internationals from inside Arafat’s compound say that people trapped inside the compound are running out of food and water. The Palestinian President has been besieged in his office for several days, after Israeli troops moved in and destroyed most of the building, staging a tight curfew on him.
